Water Restoration List

Water damage restoration shops by city

Water damage restoration is two jobs that often get sold as one: mitigation (pumping out water, removing what cannot be saved, and drying the structure) and rebuild (putting back drywall, flooring, and cabinets). Each city page lists public shops you can call tonight and explains what to ask before you sign.

We are a directory. We do not extract water or send crews. Every shop on a city list publishes its own phone, service area, and water work on its own site.

Cities with a live list

Colorado Springs, CO

Freeze-thaw supply lines in January, snowmelt in finished basements, and summer hail. Nine public shops listed, plus pages for the most common Colorado Springs losses.

We add a city only once at least three shops are verified from their own public sites. How we list shops

Clean, gray, and black water

The IICRC S500 drying standard sorts water into three categories. Category 1 comes from a clean source such as a supply line. Category 2 carries contaminants, like a washing machine overflow. Category 3 is grossly contaminated, such as sewage or rising flood water, and porous materials it soaks usually come out.

Why the first 48 hours matter

Wet drywall, carpet pad, and framing start to support mold growth within a day or two. Extraction and drying equipment set early is usually cheaper than tear-out later. If water is still moving, shut off the main before you do anything else.

What a drying plan looks like

Ask for a moisture map of wet materials, the equipment being set, daily readings, and a target dry date. A fan in the hallway is not a drying plan, and a shop that will not show readings is a reason to ask more questions.

Mitigation versus rebuild

Some shops only dry. Some also rebuild. Know which one you are hiring so you are not coordinating a second contractor while walls are open, and so the insurance claim has one clear scope per phase.

Questions

Do you send a crew?

No. Water Restoration List is a directory. Call a listed shop directly, or request a callback. Call 911 if anyone is in danger.

Why is only one city live?

We publish a city only after at least three shops are checked against their own public sites. Thin lists with unverified shops do not help anyone at 2 a.m.

Do shops pay to be listed?

No shop pays for placement on a list. See How we list shops for the method, order, and how to request a correction.
